did you know that many german wines come with a glass cork? very few are imported, but it is a nice touch for fresh white wines that should be drunk young. and the winemakers have to put them in the bottle by hand, not by machine! it is a lot of work.
It's the first time to see the cork like this. Recently, I often see silicon corks, but I hadn't seen the cork like this.
