warmed sake with nice music

I've sipped Atsu-kan(warmed sake) with nice sounds. The sake was 2 years aged sake, brewed by Hatsumago brewery, located in Yamaguchi pref. The alcohol was about 16%, little stronger than wine. It tasted strong, but smoothly. and It smelt honey. The sounds were the new album of Iron and wine, and Gil e Jorge(Gilberto Gil and Jorge Ben, a studio session recored in 1975). I felt This album of Iron and Wine was different form the others. but I liked this one too. His voice was nice as before. His sister sang too. Gil e Jorge was also nice. very relaxing music. It sounds like they played freely.

relaxing music

I've bought some CDs, Edu Lobo, Joao Donato e Paulo Moura, and Mazzy Star. Joao Donato is one of my favorites. This album was that he plays with a Clarineta player, "Paulo Moura". It's a nice relaxing album. I prefer listening it in summer, but still wonderful. And I bought Mazzy Star too, because I liked the singer, Hope Sandoval since I'd listened Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions. It's up tempo, but I love the music like that.

cozy sounds

Some CDs arrived tonight. Recently, I bought CD at online shops.

Isobel Campbell. She was a member of Belle & Sebastian. Her voice are steady, calm, warm and sweet. I wanna take a nap outside with this. a cozy quiet place, some tree around, and nice soft wind breathing with sounds.

Noubelle Vague. This time they picked up the sounds from soundtracks. Nice easy listeing.




Renato Motha e Patricia Lobato. They used to sing 24 Poems written by a Portuguese Poet, Fernando Pessoa. I haven't read it yet, but somehow, some artist, that I like, seems to love his poems. Renato and Patricia sing softly, gently, steadily and calmly. I like thier songs more each time I hear.

suburbia

I don't know people know her. she was a singer of Spring released from elefant record before. She's released an album, Suburbia, with marc collin, who is the producer of the group, Nouvelle vague. kinda easy listening, pop and sweetie. I like her voice.

brand new by tomorrow

I listened his album after a long while, Money Mark, still the member of beastie boys? Wow, he is still great. cozy music.

hojo

hojo means aujoud hui, today. It's a nice sound in Spring. It's getting warmer here. I can smell the scent of Spring by Gal Costa's sounds.

Clementine, it's very popular in japan. and Marina, I happened to find this. her directer was concern to one of my favorite band. What a coincidence! Nice music now. It goes together with breath of spring.

I've bought 2 CD yesterday. The left CD is The Chris Stamey, and the other is Nicola Kramer. I don't know both. Why did I buy it? well, Chris Stamey is a music producer and he's made some CD of Yo la tengo(that's one of my favorites) before and this album, That Yo la tengo joined with Chris. Just a gamble, but somehow, I smelt it could be a good album, and it didn't let me down at all. that's just as I expected!
and about Nicola Kramer, I didn't know it either. but I've grabbed it as I've listen some sample. Her voice is cool, breezy. something like soulful, but she is a white singer. I thought those fabulous songs I know were sung by black singers. but this is not at least. I caught an old familiar scent of something, old music? but it's not. might be, she knows and like some sounds that I like. a good album!
