Fuulin

Does anyone know what Fuulin(or see this) is? It's the Japanese wind bell. I went to a Temple in Kawasaki today. It's located near Yokohama, Japan. and see a Fuulin bazaar. The temple, Kawasaki-Taishi, holds this event at this time in every years. It's a small bazaar, but there are many kinds of Fuulin coming from all over the Japan. Usually, you will see the Fuulin made with glass, but there are another material ones as well.

This one is fuulin with DARUMA face on it.

These ones are made with a metal.

Hello from New Jersey

I found your blog while writing a story on wind bells of Japan and took the liberty to use one of your pictures.

Have a good day

Hello Serge,

I'm glad that you use one of my pictures. The wind bells bazaar holds once a year, late in July.

Have a good day too.
