I've get this unique dice for my nice yesterday. There are five piglets(pig), When it comes to stand by its snout, you'll get 10 points. stand on all fours is 5 point, lying on its back is worth 3 points, and ending up in a lateral position makes 1 point. It's funny. so that I'll give my niece as a present of new year gift(We called it "otoshidama" in japanese.). It's made by bartlgmbh(Denmark).

I've opened a rouge, C'est Im-portant 2006. Why he named this wine "It's important"? I don't know. the varieties are Grenache and Portugais bleu. It's the first time to hear Portugais blue. Did it come from Spain originally? It tasted very natural and easy to drink smoothly. Nice wine for me.

bounenkai is a year-end party. In Japan, companies, peoples, friends are having this kind of party here or there. Actually, It's just a drinking. I had dinner with some friends in my neighborhood and we opened 4 bottle of wine. I liked all wines. Especially, Champagne(De sousa) and Nuits Saint Georges(Clos des argillieres 2003, made by Frederic Cossard) were nice for me.

I've sipped a sake, Junmai Nama Genshu, brewed by Sawaya Matsumoto. Nama genshu is stronger than usual sake. Usual sake is added water and be pasteurized, like distilled alcohols. The proof is about 18%-20%. It's not that strong, because Sake isn't distilled. This nama genshu is easy to drink and taste natural. I don't know the detail, but I like the sake like this. Roquefort went together with it too.

I've sipped a glass of scotch whiskey, I don't know much about whiskey. I guess that isle of jura is a place, and samaroli is a company? This whiskey was wonderful. smell little honey, and wonderful scent of whiskey, woody?.. I don't know how to describe. Anyway, I enjoyed a wonderful time with it.

I ate Crottin after diner. It tasted sour, and the texture was moist and little hard. It get tangled(correct description?) on my tongue. I've heard of that people grilled it on sliced baguette or served it as a salad. sounds delicious.
I ate south Indian curry after months. I simmered curry with masra paste(I'd cooked), coconut milk, squash, and chicken. I served it with baguette. Not so hot, but spicy. I always make masara paste with onion, green pepper red pepper, garlic, ginger, the root of coriander, some whole spices(clove, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, laurel, and mustard seeds), and tomato. I liked this kinda curry.

Sawaya Matsumoto Junmai, You can buy a bottle(700ml) at about 1000yen. I recommend to drink as atsukan(warmed sake). I drunk some with simmered Daikon(Japanese radish) and Hakusai(Chinese cabbage). I added add thickness with Katakuriko flour(starch).

I've opened a AC Bourgogne tonight, Domaine Brenot. This wine just attracted my attention in my favorite wine shop, Because I've never seen it at the shop. The shop owner said that he'd just found this bottle while he clean up. He said this wine wasn't so fascinated, but It's good. So I've taken it. It smelt like chestnut, camomile, and honey. It has nice acidity. I haven't been able to describe this scent as camomile before. but I've found this scent since I'd sipped a camomile grappa yesterday night.
I've sipped a glass of wine yesterday night. One of Dievole, Rinascimento 2000. This wine composed of a selection of Tuscan native grapes from different vineyards. It's easy to drink. Firstly, It tastes and smelt like jam, I didn't mean that sweet, fruity and juicy, but not so fresh of course. and I've sipped a glass of grappa which flavored with camomile, marolo grappa e camomilla. That's also nice. It smelt strong camomile flavor. I liked it.

I've sipped Atsu-kan(warmed sake) with nice sounds. The sake was 2 years aged sake, brewed by Hatsumago brewery, located in Yamaguchi pref. The alcohol was about 16%, little stronger than wine. It tasted strong, but smoothly. and It smelt honey. The sounds were the new album of Iron and wine, and Gil e Jorge(Gilberto Gil and Jorge Ben, a studio session recored in 1975). I felt This album of Iron and Wine was different form the others. but I liked this one too. His voice was nice as before. His sister sang too. Gil e Jorge was also nice. very relaxing music. It sounds like they played freely.

I've eaten a slice of cheese after a while. This goat cheese is wonerful texture and taste. The wonderful taste open up nicely in my mouth. It's divine! I love it! This cheese went together with gamay too. You don't have to eat the surface when it's aged like this. just cut them and eat inside. It's little soften and..., so nice.

This wine is aged nicely. I like the wine like this. It's easy to drink and it's not watery. nice tannin, acidity, fruity and something like coffee beans. I like this scent that I always can't describe how it smells. The Vigneron is Herve Souhaut, Domaine Romaneaux.
