Vexations

This piece was written by Erik Satie. the title is Vexations, meaning literally "harassment".. Because this piece is consists of a short chordal passage, and is intended to be repeated 840 times. On the score, it's written that
"Pour se jouer 840 fois de suite ce motif, il sera bon de se préparer au préalable, et dans le plus grand silence, par des immobilités sérieuses":
"In order to play this motif 840 times consecutively to oneself, it will be useful to prepare oneself beforehand, and in utter silence, by grave immobilities."
Wow.., it must be the original of the minimal music. the sound is so simple and I like it.

Salsa Bolognese!

I've cooked meat sauce for tonight's pasta. I've get used to cook this meat sauce. and I sometimes make it. Especially, in winter. You can make lasagna with it.

The ingredient are ground meat(about 400g), can of tomato(800g), a cup of red wine, a stick of celery, minced onion, shredded carrot, olive oil, salt and mix pepper(Because I just have some left yet..)

make soffritto. it is that onion, carrot, and celery are chopped over a low flame.

add the meat, it was sprinkled salt and pepper before, and give them a good roast. Do not touch so many times. just good roast like grilling a steak.

after that, pour a cup of red wine(about 200 or 300ml), and boil down untill no more the liquid of wine. Then pour the tomato.

simmer it for 20 or 30 minutes. it's finished! All you can do now just pour the sauce on the pasta and shovel in! Enjoy it!

a hole in my sock.

I've noticed it when I went back home today.

Just grill the whole orange in oven or toaster in medium heat. It's done when it get burnt. Be careful, C'est chaud(hot)!!

Thai curry.

We were tired to eat Osechi, It's a Japanese traditional food that we eat it in the first day of New year, so that I've cooked Thai curry instead of. There were a pack of curry paste and coconut milk. I've added cutted chicken, daikon(Japanese radish), pumpkin in it. The ingredient were leftovers. I added little nampla in it. I think it was a good dish. I had curry with a rose wine, "Domaine des 4 vents". I don't know who makes it, but the domaine is located in St Chinian, south of France.

P.S
The wine was made by Clos Bagatelle, Languedoc. I liked his red wine. I've almost forgotten that...
